Vehicle History Report
A Vehicle History Report is like as a credit report, but for used cars.
Protecting yourself against used cars with costly hidden problems might prove to be the smartest thing you ever done. Any used car can have a bad past.
A vehicle title search will reveal any hidden accident damage, odometer history and false readings, car theft reports, flood damage and much more.
Reports are based on information from thousands of sources including all Departments of Motor Vehicles (DMVs) in the United States and Canada, as well as many vehicle inspection stations, auto auctions, fleet management and rental agencies, automobile manufacturers, and fire and police departments.
A history report usually uncover if your car was damaged in a major accident or wreck. Such damaged cars are often sold to buyers without disclosing the problem past.
But remember, some municipalities don't supply accident report info, so you still need to have a close look at the car you want to buy. Or even better, have a mechanic look at it.
